I am a Full-time Professional Firefighter in the
City of Buffalo, New York. I have worked in the city
for over eleven years and before that I gained a
passion for firefighting in a volunteer company just
a few minutes south of Buffalo. Over the years I have
seen many amazing moments come and go without
the notion of forever capturing those moments. I
then rediscovered my second love in photography and
the ideas grew from there. The changing times have
not been kind to the Buffalo Fire Department and
major reallocation of assets has had to take place.
This has lead to the closing of many companies and
historical firehouses. The buildings wil be lost forever
as they rapidly fall into disrepair. It was my great
sadness for this loss that compelled me to capture any
of these pieces of history that I could. In doing so I
wanted to create wonderful images that people would
be proud to display and I work very hard every day to
do so. I believe I have captured some wonderful images
and have put them here for you to enjoy or purchase if
you choose.
